With the integration, Cuetrak® users can upload a media file and receive a cue sheet report, leveraging AudioShake’s proprietary isolation software to detect and identify the music in the content, which Cuetrak® uses to generate a cue sheet report.

Accurate cue sheets depend on identifying every piece of music in a production: where each track starts, who it belongs to, and how long it plays. How AudioShake Accelerates Cue Sheet Reporting with Cuetrak®

In finished content, music rarely plays alone. Instead, music often sits alongside dialogue, sound effects, crowd noise, and narration, and the more it's buried, the harder it is to recognize. This leads to tedious clean-up work by editors and supervisors, who must clean up inaccurate entries–or face the consequences of misidentified copyrights.

Music Reports’ integration of AudioShake adds an automated music detection and identification step to the front of the Cuetrak® workflow. When a user uploads a media file, AudioShake leverages its industry-leading sound separation technology to first separate the music within the audio and create a clean, isolated music track. Working from that isolated signal rather than the full mix, it detects where music is present and identifies each cue, returning structured data such as track, timing, and duration.

Cuetrak® then ingests that identification data and stages it into a cue sheet document suitable for distribution and reporting. Cue sheets are ready for review in a fraction of the time they would take to build from scratch.
